Who I Am

Through taking on various challenges ranging from building a business to wrangling two young kids to running triathlons to focusing visionary entrepreneurs, I enjoy uncovering new areas of strengths, enjoyment and improvement.  It’s been a lifelong adventure of learning and sharing.

My first major experience in following my strengths was in my second year in college when I dropped my math major (a subject that I was apparently pretty good at) to pursue what I really enjoyed – a double major in Psychology and Organizational Behavior.

Since then I’ve been a career-long learner at the intersection of business and psychology as well as an entrepreneur, sales person, marketer, manager and investor.   Through co-founding and growing an Inc. 500 company I’ve seen what it takes to build a lasting culture.   I have an ability to look at business challenges through multiple lenses – entrepreneur, manager, innovator and investor – and uncover business leader’s key opportunities for growth.

Alongside business activities I enjoy spending time with my family and young kids, and keeping active with biking, swimming, running, hiking and backpacking. My best ideas occur at these times – rarely at the office.

I thrive on making connections between ideas and between people.  I’ve made countless introductions that have become profitable business relationships and friendships.  I love to meet business leaders and other entrepreneurial types – they all have a great story to tell.
